A notorious Drug Peddler, Alhaj Sule has been busted by the Rescue Mission, a Tamale based taskforce fighting illicit drug trade in the Northern Region.

Alhaj Sule, believed to be in his late 40s has been the main distributer of the hard drugs for a while now, supplying agents within and outside the region for the trade.

Factsnewroom.com gathers that Alhaj Sule operates in 3 regions, which include Upper East Region, North-East region and Northern region where he supplies his agents in covert operations.

Having been in the bad books of the taskforce who have been on the look out for him was apprehended following a tip off from an agent who led them to his arrest at the Jubilee Park despite his efforts to escape.

His arrest yesterday marks his 8th apprehension by the taskforce since they started the operations in the Northern Region.

In a narration leading to the arrest of the drug dealer, Members of the taskforce explain that they had an intel of him carrying 100 boxes of the trimadol to the Northern Region for trade 3 days ago. Before they could arrest him yesterday, he has already supplied 53 pieces to agents for business.

Upon his arrest, he was hauled before the Gukpe Naa Palace in Tamale for further interrogations.

The elders at the Palace resolved to mete out appropriate sanctions to the culprit for his persistence involvement in the illicit drug trade.

The Palace warns that Alhaj Sule cannot continually engage in the business with impunity, thus time has come for him to face the consequences of his actions.
