Yendi MP named among “top thirty achievers” by Conventry University

The MP for Yendi Alhaji Umar Farouk Aliu Mahama has been honoured by Conventry University, UK as one of it’s Top 30 achievers.

The MP received the award in UK yesterday, Monday 29th August 2022 at the Coventry School.

The Yendi MP thanked his Alma mater for the honour and recognition and pledged to continue to deliver and impacting the lives of the people.

“On behalf of myself, my constituents, my family and team, I thank my alma mater for the honour of this recognition. I am deeply humbled by the honor and I accept the challenge that it imposes on me to continue to seek the best of humanity and to lead exemplary leadership hinged on nothing else but development, compassion and people-first.”

He continued:
“We are resilient people committed to building a confident Yendi which is united and at peace with ourselves. This underpins my individual initiatives to tool our farmers, empower the youth and women, care about their health, and to support the needy schoolchild.
I thank the institution, once again, for the honor. It is good to be able to show that standing out for the ordinary people in our society has its rewards. May God bless us all and the peoples of Yendi and Ghana.”
